The United Nation’s Recreational Staff Council’s Salus Wellness Network in recognition of Prostate Cancer Month, hosted a Men’s Health Panel and Fair at the United Nations which offered Free PSA Testing for Men.

The panel discussion hosted Prominent Doctors that offered information about Men’s health risks and an array of information for prevention of diseases. The panel was coordinated and moderated by media and health professional, Yanna Darilis. 

Dr.Konstandinos Plestis, System Chief of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at Lankenau Heart Institute, part of Main Line Health, spoke about the leading cause of death in men, Cardiovascular Disease and Strokes. Dr. David Samadi, Chairman of Urology and leading Prostate Cancer Surgeon at Lenox Hill donated the PSA Testing and spoke about how Prostate Cancer is rising, and 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Dr. Leonid Poretsky, Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Associate Chairman for Research, and Director of the Gerald J. Friedman Diabetes Institute of Lenox Hill Hospital explained; that men are dealing with Endocrinological threats, Obesity, Hypogonadism, Erectile Dysfunction and Diabetes today. Christopher Mango, Doctor of chiropractic explained how stress affects the body.
